Preamble - New FTE hourly rate has gone up across the board - Our shift minimums were paid out in dollar amounts - If we kept the same amounts, the base minimums to motivational would be 36:64 (from 40:60) - Adjustments being made to increase the shift base minimums to keep the 40% to 60% - Adjustments made boost the daytime rates moreso than eve/weekend rates with nights staying similar, due to more night shifts desired than available. - Rate per hr (does not include motivational component) ranged from $56-162 previously, now $67-162 Attached is 1) Simplified - draft base changes 2) Full - calculations on which these are based FYI

I would prefer to see a similar bump in compensation for the 1800, 1900, and 2300 shifts. In my opinion, these are the most difficult and least desirable while they take the greatest toll on personal health and family life. Chrius
